Scilla Rajalin
Scilla Rajalin (they/them) is a Swedish-Finish choreographer based between Stockholm and London. They work multidisciplinary with movement, visual arts and creative writing - creating dynamic, often humorously twisted work around notions of identity, un-reliable realities and systematic cycles of routines & patterns.
With a background in improvisation, spatial composition and dramaturgical studies, Rajalin´s work bring focus to alternative atmospheric scenarios and colourful multi-realities - with a punky edge. Moving between dynamic ensemble pieces and solo material, Rajalin creates vibrant and theatrically expansive contemporary performance - with precision, connectivity and creative abundance at its core.
Rajalin has a creative portfolio that reaches between the US, UK, Italy and Scandinavia, working with BULLYACHE, Staibdance Dance Company, Eva Recacha, Holly Blakey, Erik Klinga, Linda Pistol, Lewis Walker, BOY Konsthall, NEFCD, Becky Namgauds, Zacharias Wolfe and more.
